Celestino Deleyto

1Professor of Film and English Literature at the University of Zaragoza. My current research interests include Film Theory and Contemporary Cinema in the Context of Transnationalism, Border Theory and Cosmopolitanism, specifically “border films” and contemporary cinematic cities, as well as the exploration of space and place in the cinema. At present I am working in the development of a cosmopolitan perspective for the study of the cinema of globalization and transnational cinemas. I am part of the research project "From Utopia to Armageddon: The Spaces of the Cosmopolitan in Contemporary Cinema."
